Outreach Efforts

President Anisa Telwar started Anisa International with the vision of giving back to communities that have supported the company and areas where the plant operates. This vision translates locally and globally, as each member of the Anisa Int’l family holds a strong commitment to giving — of our products, our time, and our money.

A Champion for Families

Anisa International is an ongoing supporter of Families First, because whatever is donated goes directly and immediately to the families in need which makes a great impact. The Families First philosophy that every child deserves a safe and loving family is one that Anisa Int’l agrees with and is proud to support an organization that assists thousands of children and families throughout Atlanta, Ga.

During the 2009 holiday season, we were fortunate enough to help provide 170 turkeys for needy families in November. We were also excited to be able to donate 45 gift baskets with warm blankets, food and toiletries for needy Atlanta families during December. View our photos on Facebook.

Supporting high school students without mothers

Students Without Mothers is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping high school students whose mothers have passed away or are absent from their lives for other reasons, help themselves to pursue higher education. Anisa serves as a mentor for the program and she and the company also support this incredible cause financially.

For 2009, we also sponsored the “Girls in Gowns” jazz concert to benefit SWM on December 21 at the Sambuca Café.

Raising money for Atlanta's homeless animals

Anisa Int'l is an ongoing sponsor for LifeLine Atlanta, a non-profit organization that promotes animal rescue and welfare in the Atlanta area. Their goal is to help every dog and cat have a good life in a caring environment. Company support includes product and monetary donations, as well as a yearly sponsorship of The LintRoller Party, a major fundraising event..

Donations to the Leprosy Center in Xian, China

plant employees in China also support about 80 leprosy rehabilitation patients at the Leprosy Center in Xian, China. Every year, individual employees contribute monetary donations to the center to help pay for heat, food and shelter. Furthermore, our plant manager, Mr. Kuk Nam Jo makes a personal visit to the center annually.

College Scholarships for Xiqing district of Tianjin

The plant supports college-bound high school students yearly through scholarship fund contributions. It is an opportunity to sow into the local Tianjin community, whose students are the future of the small town. The plant also enjoys taking part in the town celebration every year, where the students are honored for their achievements.
